Dr. Eric Vero is a SSHRC Doctoral Fellow studying disability and fandom through a digital lens. He publishes non-fiction about the Mad and queer experience under the name E. A. Vero. His dissertation, (Freaking Fans: An Oral History of Disability in Fan Spaces), explored how disabled fans fight ableism through sharing and shaping stories.
